State Fair Grandstand

Below is the lineup for the Fair's 2011 Grandstand Concert series, as well as alternative Grandstand events

• The State Fair Grandstand is an outdoor venue which has a roof that only covers the top upper level seating sections, all events are held rain or shine.
• Bag Policy/Security Check - Bags and purses will be allowed into the State Fair Grandstand. However all bags and purses will be subject to search prior to entering the facility. No professional cameras or recording devices or outside food or drink shall be allowed into the Grandstand. Fans will be asked to finish, dispose of, or return such items to their vehicle prior to entering the Grandstand.  No coolers are permitted.

• The State Fair Grandstand is smoke-free, ticket holders who wish to smoke will have to use a designated area away from the concert seats.

• There are no grandstand shows/events being held on the following days: August 29, August 31 and September 1

Tickets for all State Fair Grandstand shows/events will be available at The New York State Fair Box Office, Ticketmaster retail outlet locations which includes the Oncenter Box Office in Syracuse, online at Ticketmaster.com and Ticketmaster charge-by-phone sales at 1-800-745-3000 or 1-866-448-7849. The New York State Fair Box Office, which charges no service fees, is open from 9:00am until Grandstand showtime (5:00 on days there is no show/event).

Tickets for people with special needs - including those who are hearing impaired, use a wheelchair or have difficulty doing stairs - will go on sale at the same time as general seating tickets.

Tickets purchased for any grandstand concert/show includes admission the day of that show for the ticket holder. Children must be ages 12 or younger to be eligible for any show/event children's price. Children ages 2 and under that sit on an adult’s lap do not need a ticket.

The 2011 New York State Fair will run from August 25 through September 5.
